Hi All,
I just installed a fresh copy of ffmpegX and it works fine and so fast on my new Core2Duo 2Ghz Macbook.
I encoded some flv file to put on my website.
It appears that the progress bar and sekking function cannot work because the flv file doesn't contain any metadata.
Is there a fix for ffmpegX (mencoder) ?
If not, is there a piece of software that can easily solve my pb ?
Thanks,
LoLoVioLo

Welcome on board,
You can try VisualHub, which is based on ffmpeg, too.

hi,
I've got the same problem that LoLoVioLo and i've tried to encode some flv files with VisualHub.
The problem of the progress bar that appears in Ffmpegx doesn't exist with VisualHub.
But to encode videos with VisualHub you must buy it because the demo version is limited in 2 minutes encoding.
